YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 472.99/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is down by AMD 0.14 from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 537.98 (up by AMD 2.49), that of one British pound was AMD 732.66 (up by AMD 0.96), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.60 (down by AMD 0.04), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 241.18, AMD 17,874.28 and AMD 15,419.88, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 500,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 471.75/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 471.5/$1.
