YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 469.79/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is down by AMD 0.28 from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 521.80 (down by AMD 10.08), that of one British pound was AMD 723.10 (down by AMD 3.82), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.58 (up by AMD 0.08), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 238.19, AMD 17,626.48 and AMD 15,104.1, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 2.2 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 472/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 472/$1.
