YEREVAN. – Another “battle” has begun in the “kitchen” of the authorities of the Republic of Armenia (RA), reported Haykakan Zhamanak daily.

“This time the warring sides are RA former PM, RA Ambassador to US Tigran Sargsyan, the ARF [i.e. the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun Party], and RPA NA [i.e. the ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly] Faction MP Khosrov Harutyunyan.

“We have learned that Khosrov Harutyunyan’s son, Robert Harutyunyan, as well as ARF ex-MP Ara Nranyan, who are EEU [i.e. Eurasian Economic Union] Board member ministers since January of this year and receive a monthly salary of 12 thousand [US] dollars, will perhaps say goodbye to their positions.

“The thing is that a new, 10-member EEU Economic Commission, where each EEU member country shall have two members, shall be formed before the end of the year.

“At this moment, the RA has 3 ministers in the EEU: Khosrov Harutyunyan’s son, Ara Nranyan, and former Deputy Minister of Economy Karine Minasyan, who enjoys Tigran Sargsyan’s patronage.

“The heated battle continues, and the ARF and [Khosrov] Harutyunyan, for their part, have not lost hope,” wrote Haykakan Zhamanak.
