STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 90 times, from Friday to early Saturday morning, which is an increase in the breach of the truce.

During this time, Azerbaijan fired close to 2,000 shots in the direction of Armenian military positions, informed the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ministry of Defense (NKR MOD).

The adversary breached this truce by way of a reactive rocket propelled howitzer (TR-107), mortars, and grenade launchers. 

The ceasefire violation was more intensive especially in the eastern and northeastern direction of the Line of Contact.

As a result of the preventive actions taken by the vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, Azerbaijan’s aggressive actions were suppressed.
