YEREVAN. – Hayk G., 35, while driving a vehicle, on Sunday hit husband and wife Mher, 38, and Gayane, 36, Mkrtumyan in Downtown Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

The victims were taken to hospital on an ambulance. 

Shamsyan.com informed that the couple was crossing the street from a prohibited sector.   

Mher Mkrtumyan is the Head of the Staff at the State Committee on Water Economy.  

Representatives from the No. 1 University Hospital—where Mkrtumyan was taken—informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that he is in very critical condition and being treated in the intensive care unit.
