YEREVAN. – National Assembly (NA) of Armenia member and former Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian neither confirms nor denies the rumors that he plans to form a political party.
To the reporters’ respective query at the NA on Tuesday, Oskanian responded: “Is it not interesting to you that the intrigue remains? So, you’ll have to wait.”
Once Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) former Chairman and oligarch MP Gagik Tsarukyan had left politics several months ago, Vartan Oskanian likewise had quit the PAP.
And for a long time now, there are rumors that Oskanian plans to found a political party and run in the next parliamentary election, which is slated for 2017.
