YEREVAN. – Chairman of the Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (ASCPEC), Artak Shaboyan, on Wednesday traveled to France on a three-day official visit.

In France, Shaboyan will attend, from Wednesday to Friday, the meeting of the Global Forum of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

ASCPEC informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that this event will bring together the heads of competition authorities of over hundred countries.

The discussants will primarily confer on the economic competition policy based on the track-record and examples of a variety of countries.

Sectoral discussions also will be held within the framework of this forum.

Artak Shaboyan, along the lines of his official visit, is also scheduled to meet with President Bruno Lasserre of the French Competition Authority.
