YEREVAN. – Armenia and Luxembourg will sign an agreement on conducting flights.
The respective draft agreement was approved at Thursday’s session of the Armenian government.
Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan spoke at the Cabinet meeting, and informed that the Cargolux Airlines International S.A. (Cargolux) cargo airline of Luxembourg is interested in conducting the “seventh freedom”—that is, the right to carry passengers or cargo between two foreign countries without any continuing service to one’s own country—to and from Armenia.
According to the world aviation statistics, Cargolux is one of the world’s ten largest all-cargo airlines.
