YEREVAN. - The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs must press Azerbaijan to perform its international responsibilities, Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) expert Ruben Mehrabyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am, referring to the expectations on the coming meeting of the presidents.
“The expectations must be realistic. In my opinion, the continuation of the negotiation process is already a positive result. Apart from this, there are ready proposals on reliability and investigation mechanisms, which the Co-Chairs agreed on, but whether these will turn into reality or not depends on the Co-Chairs’ extent of pressure. Yes, Azerbaijan should be pressed to implement its own international responsibilities,” he said.
The time and venue of the meeting are still unknown. In Mehrabyan’s opinion, the meeting will take place after December 6.
