The US Embassy in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, is launching a one-month event devoted to agriculture and rural matters.
US Ambassador Richard Mills announced about the aforesaid at Friday’s official opening of the Agricultural and Veterinary Service Center of Vardenis town in the Gegharkunik Province.
Mills was accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture of Armenia, Sergo Karapetyan.
The Center will provide consulting and business support to the veterinarians, farmers, and agribusiness representatives.
The new center is expected to serve more than 2,000 farmers from seven communities in the Gegharkunik Province.
