YEREVAN. – Armenia-European Union (EU) relations have become more active recently, and there is a dynamic development in cooperation.

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, noted the abovementioned at his talk Friday with the new head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Świtalski.

The Ministry of Defense (MOD) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, first, Ohanyan congratulated Świtalski on his appointment as Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia.

At the ensuing talk, the interlocutors underscored the ongoing reforms in Armenia’s public administration, and the EU assistance to the development of the country’s democratic institutions. They also stressed Armenia-EU cooperation, and the need for the continuation of the active discourse.

At the end of the discussion, Minister Ohanyan expressed the hope that Ambassador Świtalski will contribute to the further development of Armenia-EU relations.
