The grape growers, who demanded to procure the grape harvest during a protest staged by the regional administration of Arevik village in Armenia’s Armavir province Wednesday, haven’t sold it yet.  One of the grape growers, Martik Muradyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am, adding that the village residents don’t lose hope and are waiting for the village governor to find a solution to this issue.

“We are holding talks with several companies. Tomorrow we will get the response on whether they can procure our harvest or not. As far as I know, Proshyan Brandy Factory has already procured the harvest of several villagers,” Muradyan said. He also said that 50% of the grapes harvested have already been spoiled and no factory might want to accept it.
