YEREVAN. – Rescue work at the site of the tragic crash—in Tula Oblast (province), Russia—of the passenger bus, which was en route from Moscow to Yerevan, has ended on Tuesday at noon, Armenia time (PHOTOS).

Director of the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia, Hovhannes Khangeldyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, the Tula police are working on finding out the names of the crash victims, who are Armenian citizens.

The Ministry had informed earlier that, according to preliminary data, a passenger bus, which was traveling from Moscow to Yerevan, had gone off road for yet unknown reasons and turned over on Tuesday at around 3:08am, nearby Ilinka village in the Uzlovsky District in Tula Oblast, Russia.

Emergency hotlines have been set up.

As reported earlier, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Tuesday at 3:10am. Accordingly, a passenger bus traveling from Moscow to Yerevan had crashed in the Uzlovsky District in Tula Oblast (province), Russia.

Spokesperson of the Tula Oblast (province) Department of the Russian Ministry of the Interior, Andrei Yartsev, had informed that a criminal case was opened on charges of “Recklessly causing the death of two or more persons as a result of breaking the road traffic and vehicle operation rules.”
