Parliamentarians of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states need to collaborate more closely and support one another at international parliamentary platforms.
Vice President of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Eduard Sharmazanov, noted the abovementioned on Thursday in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk, at his talk with the vice-speaker of the House of Representatives of the Belarus NA, Viktor Guminsky, who is also co-chairman of the Armenian-Belarusian interparliamentary cooperation commission.
The Armenian NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the interlocutors underscored that Armenia and Belarus are strategic partners. They also highlighted the need for the development of interparliamentary discourse between the two countries.
Sharmazanov stated that the aforesaid interparliamentary commission is a platform for open and constructive dialogue. In his words, considerable success has been achieved in the bettering of Armenian-Belarusian parliamentary relations.
