YEREVAN. – Armenia-European Union (EU) relations continue to develop.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, Garen Nazarian, announced the abovementioned at Thursday’s National Assembly debates on the 2016 State Budget draft.

Nazarian recalled that the exchange of views on the new Armenia-EU discourse had begun in November 2014.

“It’s apparent that there is political will to develop relations and to advance democracy in Armenia,” he added. “It’s [also] very important to develop mobility and ties between people. Also, the process of liberalization of the visa regime is at the focus of our attention.”
