YEREVAN. - Entering into bribe rush doesn’t pertain to Armenia, Armenia’s Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan said in the parliament today, referring to the report of the British MP Robert Walter titled “Escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and the other occupied territories of Azerbaijan”.

Putting aside the personality of that person, it is only to be recalled that in 2013 it was exactly Walter who headed the observation mission at the presidential elections in Azerbaijan. In his report he referred to the elections as “brilliant.” That report strongly undermined PACE’s reputation, Kocharyan said. Following this, the British Guardian wrote about Walter and his mission, specifically mentioning that they returned home with expensive presents, drinks, caviar, silk carpets and money.

“Of course, we definitely realize that propaganda also requires money. But other skills are also needed – the ability to speak and hear. And we are moving by this path, and not without success,” Kocharyan said.
