YEREVAN. – Armenia, by participating in the peacekeeping missions in Kosovo and Afghanistan, has helped NATO address many challenges. 

US Ambassador Richard Mills stated the aforesaid at Friday’s talk with the students at the Armenian State Pedagogical University, and within the framework of the NATO Week in capital city Yerevan.

In the ambassador’s words, there still are numerous challenges, and therefore NATO looks forward to partnership with countries like Armenia in the coming years, too. 

Mills also thanked the Armenian military and government for remaining committed to partnership and cooperation with NATO, ever since 1994.
