YEREVAN. - Yerevan Zoo worker Vardan Grigoryan, 35, who was attacked by a lion, will soon be dismissed from hospital, Gohar Grigoryan, mother of the victim, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.  

According to her, after hospital discharge Grigoryan will be under doctors’ care for certain period, following which he must undergo another operation.

7-year-old Zeus attacked Vardan Grigoryan in Yerevan Zoo on October 29. Grigoryan himself provoked the attack, trying to remove the bones from the cage. Nevertheless, Zeus is Vardan’s favorite and the man holds no grudge against the animal.
