YEREVAN. – A delegation from the Visegrád Group (Visegrád Four)—which is an alliance of four Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia—on Friday paid a visit to the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia.

The delegates met with the head of the MOD Department of Defense Policy, Levon Ayvazyan. 

The Armenian side presented a briefing on the security environment of Armenia, and, subsequently, the guests were given information regarding several matters.

The Visegrád Four delegation members, for their part, noted that this talk was a good opportunity to get familiarized with the activities of the Armenian MOD.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on several other issues of regional security.
