The Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Azerbaijan informed that an elderly woman, who is an Armenian citizen, has crossed the Azerbaijani border.

Armenia’s Noyemberyan region resident Lusine Abovyan (born in 1942) was detained, Haqqin.az news agency of Azerbaijan reported citing the MOD.

“The citizen of Armenia crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on [Sunday,] November 8, in the direction of Qazax Rayon [(region) of Azerbaijan],” the agency source said.
