YEREVAN. – One cannot speak disjointedly about territorial concessions in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Garen Nazarian, told the aforementioned to reporters on Thursday.
Nazarian, commenting on the Russian Kommersant newspaper’s report, according to which territorial concessions regarding the Karabakh issue were discussed during the talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the Armenian leadership, and within the framework of Lavrov’s recent visit to Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, noted as follows:
“It was said, on most various occasions, that recommendations made by the [OSCE] Minsk Group exist in general; this refers to the comprehensive settlement [of the conflict]. And separating and discussing some elements is unacceptable here not only for us, but also [for] the Co-Chairs. But I don’t think that such a reflection was made in the talk.”
