YEREVAN. - The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Friday sent condolences to acting President as well as Prime Minister of Lebanon, Tammam Salam.
Sargsyan extended his commiseration in connection with Thursday’s horrific terrorist attack in the Lebanese capital city of Beirut, and which claimed dozens of innocent lives and injured hundreds of others.
“We strongly condemn this inhuman terrorist act, whose objective is to undermine the stability and security, both in Lebanon and in the region.
“I extend support and consolation to you and the brotherly people of Lebanon, wishing fortitude to the relatives of the dead, and a speedy recovery to the injured,” the Armenian President’s message states, in particular.
