YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan, with its provocative actions, proves again that international recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has no alternative.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Shavarsh Kocharyan, wrote the aforesaid in his Twitter account.
Kocharyan also extended his deepest condolences to the families, relatives, and friends of the two Armenian soldiers who were killed by Azerbaijan.
“It’s natural that OSCE efforts to organize high level meeting are accompanied by Azerbaijan's provocative actions,” Armenia’s deputy FM also tweeted.
Privates Vahe Vanoyan (born in 1995) and Mikayel Torosyan (born in 1996) had sustained fatal gunshot wounds from the shots fired by Azerbaijan, on Thursday at around 9pm.
They were fatally wounded at the military base of the protection area of an NKR Defense Army unit, which is stationed in a southerly direction.
An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident.
