Armenian candidate Aram Ordubegian has been elected member of the La Crescenta community Town Council in California, Los Angeles Times reports.

According to the newspaper, despite the fact that Aram Ordubegian has become the Town Council member for the first time, he has kicked off his activity in La Cresecnta long ago. Specifically, now he is the President of the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce.  

Another Armenian candidate Alexandra Mirzakhanian didn’t manage to gather enough votes and left the race.
