YEREVAN. - In 2015, Armenia’s Ministry of Finance returned to the budget 125 billion AMD (approx. $260 million), which was earlier declared by the companies as tax losses, Armenia’s Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan said in the parliament today at the debate on the Draft State Budget of Armenia for 2016.

During the year, 1,510 companies declared accounting losses in the amount of 350 billion AMD. As a result of checks, 125 billion out of the aforementioned amount was returned by the Ministry of Finance, the declarations being considered groundless. “This is a continuous process, and a very important one,” the Minister said.
