YEREVAN. - Armenia is the only EEU country which didn’t carry out budget sequestration, Armenia’s Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan said in the parliament today at the debate on the Draft State Budget of Armenia for 2016.  

This is connected with the reduction of budgetary income through VAT and import duties: in January-October 2015, Armenia’s import from third countries (outside EEU) reduced by 41%/

“Nevertheless, we are the only EEU country which didn’t reach sequestration, since we are still controlling the situation at the expense of the internal resources,” Khachatryan said.
