Roofs of 100 houses in Armenia’s Tavush province were entirely or partially torn away, window glasses of the houses being broken as a result of Saturday’s strong wind.   

The paternal house of Armenia’s Tavush province governor Hovik Abovyan, as well as that of his brother, located in Koghb village, were also damaged.

Mayor of Koghb Aramayis Abovyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that the roofs of the houses were damaged.

The Mayor also said that the village administration has set up a commission which estimated the amount of losses and submitted it to the Municipality.
