YEREVAN. - Armenia’s healthcare expenses for 2016 will constitute 86,1 billion AMD (1,6% GDP, approx. $179 million). As compared to 2015, these expenses will rise by 1,8 billion AMD, or 2,1%, Armenia’s Minister of Health Armen Muradyan said today in the parliament at the debate on the republic’s draft state budget for 2016. 

32,2% of the funds are planned to be allocated for outpatient programs, while 46,2%, 6,5% and 10% will be aimed at hospital services, public health and other programs respectively.  

Allocations for outpatient services won’t change, constituting 27,7 billion AMD, while that for the hospitals will rise by 3,2%, reaching 39,8 billion AMD.
