YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia has advised Armenian citizens to temporarily refrain from going to Egypt, unless absolutely necessary.
This recommendation is made due to the Islamic State terrorists’ downing of a Russian passenger airplane, which was en route from Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt) to Saint Petersburg (Russia), on October 31, in the Sinai Peninsula. All 217 passengers and seven crewmembers were killed in this catastrophe.
After a long investigation, Russia has declared that there was a bomb aboard this plane.
