YEREVAN. - Armenian State Budget for 2016 will allocate support to nearly 5,9000 senior citizens.
According to Artem Asatryan, Armenia’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, support will be provided to 1210 senior citizens living in 5 care homes in Yerevan.
In-home social services will be provided to 1500 single elderly people in Yerevan by the Ministry of Labor, and 4200 senior citizens in the regions thanks to “Mission Armenia” NGO.
