YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday received the dean of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (The Fletcher School) at Tufts University  in the US, Admiral James Stavridis, and the founder and president of the Tavitian Foundation, American Armenian benefactor Aso Tavitian.

The Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that they reflected on the ongoing collaboration between the Tavitian Foundation and The Fletcher School, along the lines of which talented youth from Armenia get an education at Fletcher, with scholarships provided by the Tavitian Foundation.

The foundation also funds the visits to Armenia by the deans and outstanding lecturers of The Fletcher School.

To note, Admiral Stavridis is also a member of the US Council on Foreign Relations.

At the talk, the interlocutors also reflected on the current international issues and challenges, and regional developments.
