Turkish citizens residing in Russia are subjected to pressure from the state authorities, RIA Novosti reports, citing the statement of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow.

“Complaints from Russia-based Turkish citizens on pressure from state authorities have recently been addressed to the [Turkish] Embassy in Russia from different Russian cities. The complaints come from businessmen, workers, students and average citizens,” the Turkish Embassy said.

According to the Embassy representatives, they redirect to the Russian MFA the complaints of the citizens and require stopping the pressure.
