Armenia has achieved success in developing the institute of social worker. Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan stated the aforementioned today at the meeting with Susan S. Jacobs, a special adviser for children's issues at the U.S. State Department.   

The Minister highly appreciated the cooperation between the two countries, noting that the USAID has been a very important partner over the last 20 years.

For her part, Ms Jacobs pointed out to the very successful cooperation between the Armenian and U.S. governments.

Asatryan also stressed the importance of forming and developing a system of alternative social services, which will allow the social orphans to return to families.
