The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) plans to soon begin talks on establishing a free trade zone with Israel.

Director of the EEC Integration Development Department, Viktor Spassky, informed the abovementioned at the backstage of the Doing Business with Eurasian Union, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

The decision to launch formal respective negotiations was made as a result of the long activities by a joint research group of experts.

EEC is the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union, whose members are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
