Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed an order on introducing to the State Duma the bill on ratifying the agreement regarding single principles and rules on the circulation of medical products within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

The Russian government website informed about the above-said.

The agreement was signed on December 23, 2014, in Moscow, reported TASS news agency of Russia.

The agreement is subject to ratification because it contains laws that differ from those specified by Russian legislation, and envisions relinquishing some of Russia’s respective powers to the EEU.

The Eurasian Economic Union members are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
