YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 484.79/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is up by AMD 0.19 from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 529.88 (up by AMD 3.85), that of one British pound was AMD 729.95 (up by AMD 2.42), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7 (unchanged), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 221.95, AMD 16,710.14 and AMD 13,279.58, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 1.1 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 485.65/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 485.75/$1.
