The Turkish society is deeply concerned over Russia’s increase of its military equipment in Turkey’s neighboring countries, in recent days.

Virtually all Turkish media reacted with concern regarding the stocking up of the Russian military bases in Armenia with modern transport and attack helicopters.

The Turkish press has called attention to the fact that Russia is squeezing the “ring” around Turkey by increasing its military presence in Armenia and Syria. 

It is also noted that Russia is negotiating with the Cypriot authorities to set up a Russian military base there, too.
