Israel supports a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dan Stav said the aforementioned in an interview to APA news agency of Azerbaijan.

He noted that the international community can play a very constructive role in providing a favorable atmosphere for the resolution of this conflict.

“Because nowadays you cannot speak about Israel and Arab livings in the isolated world, or Armenia and Azerbaijan living in the isolated world,” Stav stressed. “These are part of the international community. Certainly whatever happens in Azerbaijan, or in our region, may have split over the other region. However, if there is no genuine desire toward negotiations, result-oriented negotiations, to solve the problem, the international community cannot do the work for these parties.

“We feel the pain of these losses. So the only way would be a peaceful negotiation. Now these negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh should be result-oriented. We think that in every political agreement that is concluded by the parties, the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan should be taken into consideration. This is our position.”
