YEREVAN. - Armenia no longer needs to import tomatoes. Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture Samvel Galstyan said the aforementioned in the parliament today.
In 2014-15, 83 ha of modern greenhouses with intensive cultivation technologies opened in Armenia. This allowed to fully satisfy the demand for tomatoes in winter and early spring.
