Russian citizen Edward M., 19, is charged with an attempt to illegally cross the Armenian-Turkish border. Representatives of the Judicial Department told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.

According to the indictment, on 22 December 2014 Edward attempted to cross the Armenian-Turkish border at the section of the turnpike nearby Voskehask village. Going round the border crossing point, he tried to illegally cross the Armenian state border on foot failed to do this, being caught by the border guards of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSS) in Armenia.

The resident of Russia’s Chita city Edward M. is charged under articles 34-329 (1) of the Criminal Code of Armenia.

The case is investigated in the Court of general Jurisdiction of Armenia’s Shirak province.
