The round-table discussion “Armenians of Ukraine: History and Modern Times” held in Kiev last week became an evident proof of the growing reputation of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine (UAU).  The Ukrainian analyst and historian Maxim Tsarenko made the aforementioned comment in AnalitikaUA.net.  

“The expansion of the scope of experts and public figures involved in the discussion of the UAU activity directions is indicative of the interest of Ukraine’s Armenian community in deepening the integration of Armenians in the sociopolitical processes taking place in our country.

The complicated times, which Ukraine is currently experiencing, mobilize the Armenian community to reinvigorate its activity. Through the prism of the inseparable historic past of two our nations, the vision of the new format of complementary cooperation between the cultural, political and economic potentials of the Armenian Community of Ukraine and Ukraine’s civil society as a whole is being shaped,” the expert said.

The round-table discussion entitled “Armenians of Ukraine: History and Modern Times” was held in Kiev on December 10, being attended by a number of famous public figures and experts.
