The US Embassy in Azerbaijan has denied media reports that Washington is considering the replacement of Ambassador James Warlick, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chair of the US.

“The US has complete faith in and trusts Ambassador Warlick,” an embassy source told Turan news agency of Azerbaijan. “He will continue his activities as co-chair.”

There were media reports that, due to the Azerbaijan authorities’’ discontent in connection with certain statements and actions by James Warlick, the US Department of State was considering having him replaced with another American diplomat.
