The Minister of Education and Science of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, has taken a three-day leave of absence at his own expense.
Ashotyan is in Karlsruhe, Germany, where he is attending the congress of the ruling Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) party.
The minister will also meet with the CDU senior officials, during which they will discuss the avenues for the development of Armenia-Germany relations.
