YEREVAN. - The U.S. Embassy in Armenia is ready to cooperate with the Special Investigation Service (SIS) of Armenia in the issues relating to the struggle against corruption and monopoly. The U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills said the aforementioned at the meeting with SIS head Vahram Shahinyan today.

Upon the request of the Ambassador, Shahinyan briefed him on the role and peculiarities of the SIS, the agency’s press-service reports.

The sides discussed issues related to studying the international practice in terms of improving the investigation methodologies and its organization, re-training investigators, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
