YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 484.22/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is down by AMD 0.57 from the previous business day in the country.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 530.56 (up by AMD 0.01), that of one British pound was AMD 734.61 (up by AMD 0.78), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 6.88 (down by AMD 0.08), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 216.71, AMD 16,696.72 and AMD 13,014.88, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled USD 9 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 484.86/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 484.92282/$1.
