YEREVAN. - New requirements introduced earlier will not be presented to Armenian brandy producers. Armenia's Deputy Minister of Agriculture Robert Makaryan said in the parliament today, introducing the bill on amendments to the Law on Grape-Made Alcoholic Beverages.

If under the current legislation, the Armenian brandy producers must substitute the air press for extruding machine till 2017, the amendments leave the type of the press at the producer's discretion. “The research shows that the nature of the ready-made product generally does not depend on the type of the press,” Makaryan said.
