YEREVAN. - 85 percent of Armenian Government state debt is discernible in the currency but the risks of currency fluctuation remain under control. Armenia’s Finance Minister and Chief Treasurer Atom Janjughazyan said the aforementioned today at the parliamentary debate on the agreement on $300 mln loan from the EURASEC Anti-Crisis Fund. “Of course, the new loan enters by currency, but there are no grounds to fear that the currency fluctuations can create a danger for the debt load stability,” he said.
In 2016, the Armenian Government state debt is expected to reach 5 bln 66 mln AMD or approximately 45.1 percent GDP.
