STEPANAKERT. - Official Stepanakert hopes that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will be more consistent in implementing their own proposals. Karabakh President Spokesman Davit Babayan told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent, commenting on the press statement of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs following the meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents in Bern. 

According to Babayan, the proposals like those included in the statement, are periodically raised, being permanently turned down by the Azerbaijani side.

“The Co-Chairs take such measures for granted, but the Azerbaijani side not only constantly violates the ceasefire, but also tornadoes the initiatives presented by the mediators, aimed at supporting the peace and stability in the region. We hope that after the last period of tension, the Co-Chairs will be more interested and consistent in implementing their proposals,” Babayan said.  

According to the press statement by the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group,. Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan supported the work of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ ongoing work on proposals concerning measures to reduce the risk of violence along the Line of Contact and Armenia-Azerbaijan border, including an investigation mechanism.
