The assembly of the helicopters delivered from Krasnodar Krai military aerodromes to Armenia’s Russian Air Base Erebuni has been carried out, the first flight calibrations being launched.
During the flight calibration, the community of Mi-24 attack helicopters will work out issues on flying-off, landing, as well as flights at the height of 100 to 1500 m and at different speed, Russia’s Southern Military District (SMD) press-service reports.
The flight calibration and assembly of helicopter squadron of attack and transport aviation means will be carried out in the course of two months.
The squadron of the SMD army aviation was delivered to the Russian Air Base Erebuni in Armenia in December 2015.
