YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia on Tuesday confirmed the Armenian-Belarusian intergovernmental agreement on the setting up and activities of the country’s representation to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The document envisions this representation’s opening within the CIS organizations that are headquartered in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk, and providing privileges and diplomatic immunity to its staff.

The agreement regulates the activities of Armenia’s diplomatic corps that has been accredited to the CIS.
